Are you making a recipe that
calls for melted chocolate? You don’t have to melt it
over a pot of simmering water. Use the microwave. Here’s
the trick. Place the chocolate chips or other chocolate
that you have chopped into a microwave-safe bowl and heat
the chocolate on high for only 30 seconds at a time. Stir
the chocolate after each 30 seconds. Do this until the
chocolate is almost but not completely melted. Remove
it from the microwave and stir until the chocolate is
completely melted.
